Inducted into the NFBC Hall of Fame in 2011, Jupinka is the only NFBC owner to win 8 NFBC Main Event league titles since 2004. His consistency in all formats through 14 NFBC seasons has him ranked 9th in our career earnings list with $289,950. He also has won 27 percent of all NFBC leagues he's entered since 2004 and has cashed in over 48 percent of all NFBC leagues, the highest percentage in NFBC history. He has finished in the Top 10 overall for the Main Event four times: winning the $100,000 grand prize in 2010, finishing second overall in 2008, 5th in 2012 and 10th overall in our debut season of 2004. He's also finished as high as 13th in 2012, 18th in 2005, 24th in 2011, 28th in 2015, 33rd in 2009, 35th in 2006, 40th in 2017 and 54th in 2007. The fact that he’s won a Main Event league title at a 34.7% clip is unprecedented for this tough, 15-team format. He's also excelled in every format in football, winning several titles in the NFFC. All of those accomplishments earned him a spot in the inaugural NFBC Hall of Fame class with Shawn Childs in 2011.

In the overall standings, he is our Lifetime Standings leader, having placed 1st, 2nd, 5th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 24th, 28th, 33rd, 35th, 40th, 54th, 54th, 94th, 110th, 113th, 114th, 122nd, 150th, 217th, 278th and 395th overall in the Main Event. Nobody else has been as consistently good for as long in the Main Event as Stephen Jupinka. Heck, he's finished lower than 5th only three times in his 24 Main Events that he's competed in.

Steve has spent approximately $154,000 in NFBC entry fees since 2004 and has won just over $289,000.

Steve has also won money in just about every different format. He has won:

  • Main Events (8)
  • NFBC XII
  • Ultimate Auction League
  • $500 Satellite Leagues (4)
  • $325 Slow Drafts (4)
  • 12-team Online Championships (3)
  • Invitationals (KJ Duke) (1)

He finished second overall in the debut NFBC Auction Championship in 2010 and in 2011 he was second overall in the debut NFBC Slow Draft Draft Champions Championship and was 5th overall in the 2011 NFBC Online Double Play among 780 owners. In 2012, he had two teams in the Top 13 overall of the Main Event and an NFBC XII team that finished 13th overall. In 2013, Steve won his sixth Main Event league title while finishing 15th overall. That year he also co-owned a team with Jeff Dobies that won $40,000 in the Ultimate Auction League, while also winning a title in the 12-team Online Championship. Winning league titles in one season in the 15-team format, the 12-team format and the auction format just shows how versatile and talented Steve is. Heck, he even won a league title in our 10-team debut event the Cutline Championship in 2016. And in 2017 he won his 8th Main Event league title, finishing 40th overall, the most Main Event league titles in NFBC history.

Dave Potts became the 5th owner inducted into the NFBC Hall of Fame when we honored him in 2017 at the Bellagio, Las Vegas. Dave joins Shawn Childs, Steve Jupinka, Lindy Hinkelman and David DiDonato in the NFBC Hall of Fame.

Dave first joined the NFBC in 2009 and admittedly took a learning lesson the first few years in our 15-team format. But Dave won the NFBC Main Event title and $100,000 in 2012 and he hasn't looked back since. He has won four NFBC Main Event league titles in nine years, including titles in 2016 and 2017. He’s also won a Platinum League title, an Ultimate Auction League title and league titles ranging from the Rotowire Online Championship to the NFBC XII. Dave is currently 4th all-time on the NFBC money list with earnings of $406,012.50 despite not joining our contest right away.

Dave has five Top 20 finishes in the NFBC Main Event overall: 1st (2012), 11th (2011), 15th (2016), 16th (2016) and 20th (2015). He also finished 3rd overall in the NFBC XII during that magical 2012 season as he almost won the $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overall titles. That was the year Dave Potts made a name for himself in the fantasy baseball industry and each year he just accomplishes a little bit more. Dave has become one of the most famous fantasy players in the industry, going on to win a $1 million Fanduel prize AND a $1 million Draft Kings prize in 2014 and 2015. Dave quit his musical touring career two years ago and became a full-time writer for Rotogrinders.com. He's a fulltime writer for the site during the baseball season and he's even put his pretty face to video. With his track record, everyone should listen to his DFS and season-long advice.
